Deutsches Altenheim offers a variety of health care services in a setting that preserves the best traditions of German culture. The community includes the German Centre for Extended Care, offering skilled nursing, respite care, outpatient rehabilitation, hospice services, post-acute rehabilitation and Alzheimer's care; Senior Place, an adult day health program for seniors with special health concerns who need a structured, stimulating environment with nurse supervised care; and Edelweiss Village, with 62 assisted living apartments and a variety of amenities. Deutsches Altenheim serves the German-American and greater Boston communities and people of all ethnic, national and religious backgrounds.
